I seem to be stuck in a loop.
I booked tickets with air Canada and the return flight is operated by Austrian. I am unable to pick seats for the Austrian flight.
I reached out to Austrian on twitter and they told me that seats can be picked on the app / website. Despite my efforts, I can’t seem to locate where to pick seats on the app / website.
AC has told me that since the flight is operated by Austrian, they can’t help.
Does anyone know where on the Austrian website / app can I pick seats ?
Do you have your OS PNR? Enter that into the OS website to manage your booking.
I do have it. I have entered it but it doesnt let me pick seats.
Then you can’t pick seats probably due to some dumb codeshare / not-ticketed-by-OS website problem.
You’ll need to call OS reservations and give them your OS PNR. You’ll need an OS agent…

Were you able to select your seats? I am facing the same issue where I’ve booked tickets through AC but have a connection operated Austrian and am unable to select seats.
No, I was not able to pick seats. OS told me to call the local office and I will have to pay to pick seats in advance. Or, choose seats during the check in period.
I tried calling, but the wait was too long.
